AAPI Heritage Month Campaign: Celebrating Culture through Food and Farming

Donate

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month!

In 2007, fleeing ethnic genocide, refugees from Burma (aka Myanmar) were the largest refugee group being resettled in the US.

To date, more than 100 refugee farmers and their families have participated in TTCF business and leadership development programs, collectively earning more than $1,000,000 in income. All participants were farmers in Burma and 92% of the farm businesses at TTCF are currently women-run, whereas only 13% of farmers in NC are women and .004% are Asian.

TTCF would like to take this time to highlight our farmers and share our growth and accomplishments with the community for the month of May.

Please help us continue to make a difference in our community. Your donation will help us continue to support our farmers and their families to strive for success in the farming and food access industry.
